WHO CAN COME AND FOR HOW LONG?
We receive leaders and missionaries through existing relationship networks and through an application process. This is primarily a healing home specifically for leaders or others who are seeking healing, refreshing, or breakthrough but we may also open it up as a host home at times to offset costs so that we can sustain the ministry to the missionares. We prayerfully receive those whom the Lord sends for two days up to one week unless further arrangements have been made.
We are more interested in quality than quantity. In other words, timing is important. To say yes to the deep work God wants to do in some people, we might have to say no to other people. Our team prays over every applicant and together agrees if the timing is right to receive them. If you are a leader or missionary (serving for a minimum of two years) and are in need of healing, refreshing, or breakthrough, please email JenMiskov@silvertogold.com sharing your heart in what you hope to get out of your time here, your needs, and dates requested. Further letters of recommendation or references may be requested. It is also suggested that guests read Silver to Gold and/or Life on Wings to get a better feel of what they are about to walk into.
Additionally, if you want to come visit and receive prayer by the team we can set up an appointment. We are also considering allowing others stay for a minimum donation who want to come and experience what God is doing here. Please email us at the above email address for more information.
WHAT CAN BE EXPECTED?
Guests are invited to join our Friday morning worship/prayer meeting and our family dinner. In addition, we welcome requests for prophetic impartation and/or healing prayer from our team, outings to Whiskey Town Lake, or visits to the Bethel Healing Rooms or other Bethel events. Our team commits to pray ahead of time for guests and we try to be sensitive to the Spirit to give space or provide community depending upon need. We ask that guests provide their own food and transportation, unless otherwise arranged ahead of time.
DOES IT COST TO STAY HERE?
We are still working out the details of making this a sustainable ministry. We want to make sure that those on the front lines who have given everything to love the poor can stay here regardless of their financial situation. The way we may choose to offset some of these costs is by hosting others and having them pay a minimum donation so that we can sustain this ministry and make it more accessible for missionaries. We encourage and invite those who share this same vision and want to sow into this ministry to do so however they feel led. Financial contributions can be made out to Jen or "Silver to Gold" and sent to the Destiny House at 2391 Placer St., Redding, CA 96001 or donated through paypal. When resources are released, we are looking to set up Silver to Gold as a non-profit to enable those who want to give to be able to do so with a tax-deduction.
